Our town planning and urban design team are excited to announce the lodgement of an application for 288 townhouses in Yamanto, achieving a net density of 39 dwellings per hectare in line with the ShapingSEQ targets. The site was subject to a number of constraints, including flood hazard and steep terrain, in conjunction with an abattoir site to the west. In collaboration with our trusted consultants, we developed a solution sensitive to the site’s natural assets which improves the overall amenity for future residents. The end product showcases a high-quality townhouse development in a prime location near the future Yamanto Railway Station, connecting residents to Springfield and Ipswich. Our team is proud to have found a balance between the built and natural environments, celebrating the nexus between ecological sustainability and high-quality residential land use outcomes.
