Cross River Rail is a new 10.2km rail line that includes 5.9km of twin tunnels running under the Brisbane River and CBD; with four new underground stations at Boggo Road, Woolloongabba, Albert Street and Roma Street. Bennett + Bennett was engaged to deliver survey plans to enable creation of property title over the rail tunnel based on 139 Notice of Intention to Resume Plan (NIR) plans. The property data was analysed from Cadastral Inventory of Survey Plans (CISP) data search, tunnel geometry, Digital Cadastral Database (DCDB) utilising GIS to evaluate complexity of surveys. The Cadastral Survey was completed for each of the influenced lots from Woolloongabba through the city to Spring Hill. This involved surveying occupation and potential encroachments in accordance with survey legislation, placement of boundary marks, permanent marks and reference marks, preparation of Volumetric Format Survey Plans in accordance with current Survey Proposal Plan and Endorsement of survey plans and lodge accredited copy with the Department of Resources.
