The Caloundra Transport Corridor Upgrade (CTCU) is a 1.6-kilometre corridor that will improve connectivity and travel choice into the Caloundra CBD. The project will also encourage active and sustainable transport such as walking, cycling, electric vehicles and public transport. The project will help reduce congestion and delays at the Caloundra Road, Nicklin Way and Pelican Waters Boulevard intersection while providing flow-on benefits for local roads in Currimundi, Dicky Beach and Moffat Beach. Bennett + Bennett were engaged by Sunshine Coast Council to provide a high-accuracy, high confidence ground and feature survey of the Oval Avenue & Gosling Street, Caloundra Upgrade Project. In addition to this, we were engaged to undertake Quality Level B (AS5488:2019) investigations of subsurface utilities. Delivery of the project was to be in accordance with the Sunshine Coast Council specification for survey deliverables. Subsequent engagements involved further services investigations and various Cadastral Surveys to assist in the resumptions of several properties.
