Bennett + Bennett celebrates national recognition at inaugural National EISSI Awards
Bennett + Bennett has taken out two national honours at the inaugural National EISSI Awards, with the company recognised for excellence in the infrastructure sector and technical solutions in urban cadastral surveying.
Held in Canberra, the awards brought together the best of Australia’s surveying and spatial information profession to celebrate innovation, technical excellence and the people shaping the future of the industry.
Bennett + Bennett was proud to receive the Infrastructure and Construction Project Award for our work on the Queens Wharf development and the Urban Cadastral Surveying and Land Titling Project Award for the Cross River Rail Resumption Survey. This achievement recognises the company’s expertise in delivering complex surveying solutions that underpin major infrastructure and city-shaping projects across Australia.
Queens Wharf is one of the largest urban redevelopment projects in Australia, transforming more than 12 hectares of Brisbane’s CBD and riverfront into a world-class entertainment, hospitality and public precinct. Bennett + Bennett played a critical role on the project since early works in 2016, providing site-wide surveying, cadastral framework development and advanced spatial data to support demolition, excavation and construction activities.
On the Cross River Rail Resumption Survey, the team delivered highly complex cadastral and volumetric survey plans to enable property titling for the new underground rail corridor beneath Brisbane’s CBD, helping establish an accurate boundary framework for one of Queensland’s most significant transport infrastructure projects.
Bennett + Bennett’s CEO Craig Wood said the recognition reflects the dedication and expertise across the business and the focus on technical excellence.
“Winning two national awards at the first National EISSI Awards is an incredible honour for our team. It recognises the precision, innovation and collaboration that goes into delivering high quality surveying outcomes for our clients. These awards are a testament to the commitment of our people and the trust our clients place in us to support projects that shape communities and infrastructure across the country.”
Bennett + Bennett congratulates all finalists and winners recognised on the night, noting the awards showcased the depth of talent and capability across Australia’s surveying profession.
