Eildon acquired a 15ha site with an existing tavern and has been transforming the site into a combined retail and commercial precinct. The Bennett and Bennett town planning team have successfully managed and coordinated a number of development applications over the site for the following:
- A full-scale Coles anchored shopping centre
- Medical Centre and pharmacy
- KFC Fast Food Outlet
- 14,042 sqm Bunnings warehouse
- Large Format Retail Centre anchored by Pettock, SuperCheap Auto and Planet Fitness
- Advertising Signage
- Infrastructure agreement for the upgrade of Pumicestone Road
The local centre began trading in late 2022. The Bunnings and Large Format Retail are set to open in early 2023. With an end value for the entire project of over $100 million, the project represents a regionally significant development, set to provide an uplift in the economic, employment and social opportunities available in the area.
