The Lakes is a large master-planned community located in Mermaid Waters. It is being developed on the last greenfield canal front site on the Gold Coast.
Sprawling across 42 hectares in Mermaid Waters, the Lakes is designed around a man-made lake featuring water front residential lots, medium rise residential buildings, and a commercial and retail precinct. This large scale development is to be delivered in stages. The latest stage being the delivery of “The Lanes Residences – East”, a twin tower development for over 150 luxury lake front units.
Bennett + Bennett have been involved in various aspects of this project since the 1980’s, including preliminary land lease surveys, contract plans for community title schemes, proposal plans for lot layout, subdivision plans, the lot set outs, provision of construction control for the civil set out works, lot staking, as constructed survey of civil works providing expert titling advice.
