If you work in the city and travel on the Riverside Expressway, you must be aware that the construction of the Neville Bonner Bridge is well underway.

Hard to ignore the current works occurring at Southbank, in the Brisbane River and at the Queens Wharf Integrated Resort Development, where the work is being conducted at night.

The Bridge is named in honour of the late Senator Neville Bonner AO, Australia’s first indigenous member of the Parliament of Australia. It is expected that the bridge will open in late 2022 at the same time as the Queen’s Wharf does.

Our team is busily providing survey control, laser scanning, monitoring and titling services on the Queens Wharf Integrated Resort Development. Part of this is to ensure the new bridge connects and joins in with our main works on the site.

Our surveyor can be seen on-site amongst the photos at night as we are monitoring any deflection in the Riverside Expressway as a condition by TMR.
