The Brisbane city skyline has undergone a dramatic transformation over the past 13 years our Kelvin Grove office has been operating. Upon reflection, we can’t help but feel proud of the number of landmark projects which our teams have been involved in.
Bennett + Bennett’s first major high-rise project in Brisbane was ‘400 George Street’ which commenced in 2006 and was finished in late 2009. We were engaged by Thiess (Leighton Properties) to provide survey set out control.
Since 2006 we have provided survey set out control, titling of units / lots, town planning, laser scanning, or a combination of all these services to many of the city’s most prominent high-rise developments.
Whilst there have been many exciting projects, the top 5 high-rise buildings based on size (in no particular order) that we have been a part of are:
- 1 William Street (aka. Brisbane’s Tower of Power)
- 300 George Street
- Brisbane Sky Tower
- Abian Tower
- 400 George Street
Our latest major project is the world-class Queens Wharf development (26 ha – land & water site) which is early into its major construction with Multiplex. Bennett + Bennett started on this project in 2013 providing Titling advice to Destination Brisbane Consortium (DBC) and have been the Surveyors for the site ever since.

The diversity of development within the Brisbane CBD is evident when you note the mixture of building types – hotels, residential units, commercial office towers and shopping centres.
