To celebrate the work Bennett + Bennett have completed on Queens Wharf, Director and Brisbane Office Manager Craig Wood ran a guided walking tour of this major Brisbane development explaining the project itself and giving insights into our survey role and the challenges the site has provided us.
The works completed by Bennett + Bennett includes consultancy advice on the complex tenure and titling of the site, laser scanning and 3D modelling of the heritage-listed buildings, the survey control for the entire development including the IRD, Public Realm and Heritage enabling works.
The tour was at full capacity and attended by a mix of surveying and spatial professionals, USQ students and lecturers, and those from related professions in QLD all with a common interest to hear more about the Queens Wharf project.
Craig was asked about the turnout…. ‘a fantastic and engaged the audience with some great questions to consider. The team from Bennett + Bennett are extremely proud of the work we are completing on the project and it was fantastic to celebrate this with all of the attendees. Thanks to those who came along and who also attended our networking event at 1 William Street. It was an enjoyable afternoon and to be able to connect and unite with our industry colleagues was fantastic.
The feedback via our Facebook @BennettAndBennettAustralia has been very good.
