This multi-stage, masterplanned townhouse development is located in Moreton Bay Council’s General Residential Zone (Urban Neighbourhood Precinct) within walking distance of Dakabin train station and close proximity to major recreational facilities, schools, services and employment centres.
Bennett + Bennett town planning were responsible for leading the project team during the initial design phase and development assessment, providing strategic, town planning and titling advice and coordination through to approval of the project.
The project consists of a staged subdivision to deliver a mix of two and three storey villas, terrace houses and a manager’s residence. This community title development involves landscaped streets, paths and open space facilities including a pool, designed with the intention to create a welcoming and visually interesting neighbourhood which respects and emphasizes the environmental features of the site. The resulting development is designed to achieve 144 dwellings and a mixed use, commercial development servicing the locality.
The proposed development was determined by Council to be an appropriate development outcome and in compliance with the applicable design provisions of the Planning Scheme, and approved in a timely manner.
