Draft SEQ Regional Plan released today

Shaping SEQ – Draft South East Queensland Regional Plan

This morning, Deputy Premier Jackie Trad released the Draft South East Queensland Regional Plan for public consultation.
Formal submissions are open from today until midnight on Friday 3rd March 2017.

The plan outlines the framework for managing projected growth within the region over the next 25 years, whilst also providing a vision for the next 50 years. Importantly, the document includes proposed State Planning Regulatory Provisions relevant to Material Change of Use and Reconfiguring a Lot within the local government areas of:

• Brisbane City Council
• City of Gold Coast Council
• Ipswich City Council
• Lockyer Valley Regional Council
• Logan City Council
• Moreton Bay Regional Council
• Noosa Shire Council
• Redland City Council
• Scenic Rim Council
• Somerset Regional Council
• Sunshine Coast Council
• Toowoomba Regional Council (part)
