Bennett + Bennett would like to announce that Greg Short is stepping down as Managing Director.
He will be continuing on as a Director / Project Manager with a continued focus on high end, mixed-use developments and titling. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Greg for his incredible contribution to the company, and its ongoing success.
It is with great pleasure that we are also able to announce that Mark Billsborough will be taking over the position of Managing Director. Mark has been a pivotal member of the management team for over 5 years and was previously in charge of our Operations and Human Resources divisions.
Bennett + Bennett has been a part of my life for more than 37 years and I have personally had the pleasure of being the Managing Director since 2006.
During this time I have seen incredible growth from the company working on various subdivisions around the Gold Coast to now also specialising in major construction and infrastructure throughout Queensland, Northern New South Wales and the Northern Territory.
I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge Ted and Lin Bennett, who founded this great company and recognised that Surveying was a business and not just a service. They instilled a very strong culture of quality, fairness and most importantly being proactive about managing projects. I always admired Ted as a personal mentor and also the late Steve Hudson, who I succeeded as Managing Director.
There are so many wonderful people who have played such pivotal roles in the Bennett’s story, I cannot thank them all enough! Without these dedicated members we would not have seen the growth and success that is Bennett + Bennett today.
Mark Billsborough takes leadership of a successful company that is in great shape and has exciting times ahead. I have confidence in his ability to continue Bennett + Bennett’s strong culture and push for innovation.
I look forward to being a part of this year’s 50th Anniversary celebrations and seeing the company continue to grow and innovate in the years ahead.
